Even though God of War has a name of its own, you will be impressed further down. The conflict between gods and titans and Kratos vengeance has reached its climax. Live through it, through the gore-filled impressive battle system accompanied by jaw dropping graphics.

This game blew me away in a big way. Ever since I played the first game in 2005, I have been thinking that 'this game will be hard to beat'. Well, it was beaten by its sequel, and that in turn has now been beaten by its sequel! I don't want to spoil anything at all, so I will just talk about the gameplay. You will be relieved to know that the gameplay is basically the same as before, the only difference being that it has been refined almost to perfection. It feels smoother, looks more brutal and is simply fun. The game is a reasonable length, but if you want maximum playtime it would be my recommendation to play it on the second highest difficulty, for it will simply last longer. To know why this is, you must play the game. Basically, what should be a reasonable boss battle becomes difficult, and as a result your skills in the game will improve. The game includes several bonus movies showing how the game was made, and these are now in HD as opposed to the SD specials in the Collection. Basically, buy this game. Every penny is well spent! In fact, buy every single God of War game, as they are excellent. A bit brutal at times, but excellent. Oh, and did I mention the graphics? They are a rival to those of Uncharted 2 - only darker. A great game for a great console - buy it now!

One word can describe this game in my review: Epic!! Now that isn't saying much, but I must say that God of War 3 had one of the greatest introduction to a video game that I ever played or seen. First off, God of War 3 is the end of an incredible trilogy created by Santa Monica Studio. This action/adventure game is simply good. This series was always known for violence and sex, and this game deliveries in the next highest level. The main meat of the game is the combat, since 90% of the game is just that. The combat (so called gameplay) has been redefine, and pretty much is perfect this time around. Graphical is unmatched. This is the best looking game I have seen. And yes I am saying it looks better than Uncharted 2 and Mass Effect 2. The character animation for Kratos, the protagonist in the story, looks live-like. The big stumble to this game was the story. Now throughout the series, God of War had an incredible story for itself. Now from the beginning of this game, everything is back to flowing right. From the titans climbing up Mount Olympus reaching after Zeus, and his fellow brothers was amazing. Then I felt that the story started to loss steam right after the middle of the game, and the ending.... well lets just say everything just got lost and was pretty bad. Not much re-playability you can found here as well, but you can unluck bonus content once you beat the game. It isn't perfect, but almost there. I still think it is the PS3 game of the year.

An excellent game for the PS3. The graphics, sound, gameplay is out of this world. At the outset, the game starts with a clash of the titans (Kratos and a God) and at this stage you will be made aware of the quality of this game will bring to you. Must buy game

A game of Epic porportions and scale. God of War 3 thrusts you into the turbulent world of Kratos, where you will maim and kill your way to the tumultuos ending of this fantastic series. A MUST play!

This game pushes the boundaries of the PS3 and raises the bar for all other games currently out right now... but no other action game comes close. from the moment you begin scaling gaia in the opening moments till the very end your jaw will most probably remain on the floor... a simply amazing, gory, bloody, epic experience. basically it's not like other games with 1 or a few moments you'll never forget playing... from start to finish this game is one epic (yes this is the third time i'm writing epic purposely) masterpiece with too many extraordinary moments to remember which words cannot begin to describe. a true gift to any PS3 owner, a game that simply must be owned

This game has it all: story, characters, action, gameplay and graphics. It looks and feels really brutal sometimes with buckets of blood everywhere. It will take around 10 hours to beat the whole game but you can unlock bonus material. This game is a must for every ps3 gamer unless you don't like action/adventure of course.

As a fan, I couldn't ask for much more, this game is beyond excellent and the graphics are immense! BUY IT NOW!!!!!!

This game is beyond belief. The graphics are eye boggling, the scale is beyond belief. And the gore and brutallity, has probably nearly got the game banned!! BUY IT< BUY IT NOW> You will not be dissapointed.
