The new zavvi store in the Glasgow Silverburn Shopping Centre will be officially opened by Still Game star Ford Kiernan at 11am on Friday 25th July.
After cutting the ribbon he'll be signing for fans, with the first 20 people receiving a goodie bag.
At 5:30pm, Glasgow's hottest new band Attic Lights will be performing live and signing copies of their new single 'Bring You Down'.
This Glaswegian quintet were brought up on a diet of The Beach Boys, Flaming Lips and deep-fried Mars Bars. The four-part harmonies in a number of their songs have led to frequent comparisons to Teenage Fanclub, which can only be a good thing.
Interesting fact of the day: 'Bring You Down' features a monologue by David Gest in which he delves into his split from Liza Minnelli. In one line, Gest says: "I never knew a woman could be so cold."
