Opening with a wonderful win at big-spending and highly fancied Leicester back in August, the players confounded their critics and astounded their own supporters with some incredible performances during this momentous season.
Scoring five past Charlton, four past Coventry and three past Burnley were all huge highlights at Bloomfield Road, never mind the nerve-jangling, nail-biting success over Sheffield Wednesday and, of course, Wes Hoolahan's cheeky chip from 12 yards at Deepdale in December.
